Nigeria will play more friendly matches before the World Cup
Russia's Super Eagles are a bit more serious about the World Cup. Their goal is to prove that it is going to go far. Nigeria has announced to play three friendly matches as part of the preparations. Before the World Cup final in Russia, they will play three matches against Serbia, Czech Republic and the Congo.
Nigerian Football Federation President Amzu Pinik confirmed the matter, saying that the first friendly match against Serbia will be held on March 27 in London. Super Eagles will then play against Congo in Abujua on 28 May and against Czech Republic on 6 June.
Earlier, Nigeria announced its friendly match against England in London on March 23, Warsaw and 2 June in England. Four-time African Nations Cup winners will face Argentina, Croatia and Iceland in Group D for the World Cup in Russia.
