The Indian forces demanded the killing of 7 Pakistani soldiers
The Indian Army has claimed that seven Pakistani soldiers were killed after attacking the Line of Control at the border of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
On Monday morning, the 'revenge' attack was launched on Indian army day, NDTV said on behalf of the Press Trust of India.
On this day, Indian army chief Bipin Rawat has alleged that the Pakistani army has been consistently trying to help terrorists enter India along the Line of Control.
"If we are forced, we can start another process by increasing military attacks," he said.
"We are using our strength to teach them one. Effective revenge will be taken against any provocative action of Pakistan. We will not let the anti-India activities succeed at any cost. "
NDTV said the Indian security forces killed at least five members of Jeish-e-Mohammed in the Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday morning.
India's defense spokesman Col. Rajesh Kaliya said that a group of suicide attackers from Pakistan were trying to enter India from Urir Dulanza area.
The report said that the area is 108 kilometers away from Srinagar, the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir.
On the other hand, Dawn News reported on the basis of Pakistan Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement that on Monday four Pakistani soldiers were killed in Indian firing along the Line of Control in Jadrod sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
